A lot has change since I last post. Obviously NS is sapping away all the time I usually spend doing practically-nothing-and-update-the-blog-once-in-a-while. I just came back from Taiwan for “holiday” and can you believe I spend only 10,000NT (S$450) 1 month in Taiwan. Unbelievable!? Taiwan holiday? Ha-ha
A little update about what I went through so far. It seemed that the last post I was talking about Armor Live Firing. Those were during the early stages of my Armor Conversion Course. Then we had the CAT (Combine Armed Term) where we (those who went through SISPEC) gathered together for a Passing-Out-Parade.
CAT period was really the best time we had in NS. We wake up late. Walk (not march) lazily to the cookhouse for our breakfast. Return to bunk. Continue sleeping… The following week, we returned to Armor and prepare for (gulp*) field camp. Right after field camp is… Taiwan “holiday”… OMGosh. 1 month “holiday”!?!? I sure missed home and Sandra (^-^)
The grand finale of Armor Conversion Course is our other POP, codename: Open House (Don’t be so formal, come and chill and hang around and look see look see).
“Don’t bring too many people,” and so they said.
“If everyone bring more than 2 people, there will not be enough seats…blah blah blah…”
“I will do random check to see if YOU GUYS bring more than 2 parents/gf/bf. No choice, we have to control the crowd… oink* oink* oink*…”
Let’s work out the formula of the turnout :- (Total number of parent expected to come)*2 – [Unforeseen circumstances + Not compulsory + Early saturday morning + YAAE (Yet-Another-Army-Event) + Can't decide who to bring (might as well don't bring any)] = FULL HOUSE!!! = Those who bring any more than 2 person will BE PUNISHED!!!
They are RIGHT! Oh man! Some of parents will not have seats and have to stand outside =(
Don’t messed with the Inciks. Confinement comes easy, and go… minus 1 weekend.
“We the soldier… marching in… lalalala… Eh wait! Why are there so many empty seats? Wait! The auditorium is half-filled only!? Must be my eyes playing trick on me. The Inciks are never wrong.”
Well… It’s good. At least no marching under the hot sun and turn ‘chao tar’.

I guess I need to update my blog. I can start seeing search-engine spiderweb and digital dust settling on the blog. I’m just busy with my work and I am on a tight schedule.
So here I am. What should I talk? Living life to the fullest. Working hard, playing harder… I think I shall share with you one of my favorite song. I was just playing Tap Tap Revenge 2 on my iPod Touch when I saw the song, ‘Give you Hell’ by All-American Rejects available for download.
Nice song. That’s why after playing, I decided to go look for the music video but… the video is not as nice as I expected… (see it for yourself)

Last chance to see me with hair…

For those who are wondering, no, this blog is not dead yet. It is the owner of this blog who is almost half-dead. Today is Graduation Day, and for most of us, our last chance to see one another. Very soon, everyone will be busy with their next phase of life. Be it NS for the guys or Uni for the girls. It will be hard to just hang out together and chill. And to all my school friends out there who happen to come across this post, I would like to say to you guys, “CON-GRADUATION!!”
Love is sweet…
At the same time, I felt that friendship is equally as important. Especially true friendship… its hard to come by. Its so hard.
I think Eugene couldn’t agree more…
And friends ought to hug each other more often… we ought to have such a social culture Hugs is Free, what do you stand to lose. (Before I start charging $2 for a hug ;P)
Work is piling up and I kinda lost the momentum to work all day and night just to rush it out.

Staring into blank space…

… thinking what I should do. I’m still not used to the transition from schooling to becoming a free man. The stress and pressure to perform well just went away.
So, now what? Work freelance? Work in some design firm? Do some self-study? Or just focus on my business? I have not really made up my mind. Fact is, money is not really important to me now. I’m still living under my parents’ roof, receiving pocket money every week and always have money left each week (enough for me to spend/still able to satisfy my needs).
Maybe I should enjoy myself this few months? Go out with friends. Go out and eat, play, slack. And do only things that interest me.
Interesting things… things like… Augmented Reality??
With just a few lines of code in Actionscript. The camera can track any pattern on real time and create a 2D/3D on it.
Live video would be more impressive and reinforce the fact that this true AR and not just some photoshop crap.
The perspective of the cube will change according to the angle of the pattern. I will try and develop and showcase more Augmented Reality test/finished product in the future. Ciao. 4am now. Gotta sleep

What really happen between Rihanna and Chris Brown?

Now that my FYP’s o’er, I have ample time to relax and chill and do some research. I saw the news on TVMobile that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together. The question that bug me most is why Chris Brown beat Rihanna in the first place. Having hours upon hours of research, I finally found a super reliable source. (Remember, back in the school days, in Social Studies, you need to differentiate between credible and non-credible source) Then I spent another countless hours of cross-referencing and analyzing and calculation and coin-flipping. I have found this to be the perfect source and perfect credible source.
Can you see how much the person in the video resemble Rihanna and Chris? So this must be the footage extracted from the CCTV outside Rihanna’s house.
That brings about another topic. Ever wonder how accurate and correct the information in the internet is? Believe whatever you see online. Be it forum, blogs, videos, pictures. Everyone that share stuff on the internet definitely have a good journalism attitude and is accurate in whatever they say. Even liars and cheaters in the real world will turn into professional journalists on the internet. Every things on the internet is true and so is TV advertisement
The phrase, Internet Scam/Fraud is true only in the early 60s (Internet wasn’t around until the late 60s). The top secret organization agency run by the government had already trashed all incorrect materials on the net and round up everyone who lied online and locked them up in some deserted island in the Bermuda Triangle.

Now that I’ve let the cat out of the sack. They might come and get me, but they can’t sent me off the island since I wasn’t lying. That’s why I am expecting hitmen, assassins and silence me. They have these top secret high-tech hacking satellite that they secretly sent to space using rockets powered by baking soda and vinegar which will be able to intercept every piece of computer data before it is sent to the cyber-highway so….

Am I a Potential Assassin as seen in ‘Wanted’?

Am I a Potential Assassin as shown in the movie ‘Wanted’? It works like this…
During a crucial moment, more adrenaline is pumped to your body. The world seem to slow down. You feel like you might almost get a panic attack. Turns out, your speed and agility increase due to the slow speed of reality. You can dodge bullets, do extraordinary-super-human feats and even curve bullets…
That’s what I experience when I took NAPFA yesterday. Every time I take Shutter Run, I feel the Adrenaline Rush. It was an uncomfortable feeling as I felt that my whole body seem to slow down and my heart is pumping so fast, I could get a heart attack. My last timing is 9.6s for Shutter Run, which I think should be the best I can get (not bad for someone who don’t exercise very often).
I heard the person say go, and it took about .2 seconds for my body to react. I sprint, but I realize I am not sprinting as fast as I used to. My sprint seem to feel like jogging speed to me. I want to go faster but my body just don’t listen to me. When it come to the first turn, I took like another .2 seconds before my body realize it is time to turn… This happen when I took the first cone, then the second cone. When I pass the line, and the time is stop, everything suddenly resume to its normal speed again. I knew I didn’t run as fast as I usually could when I was training at home. But as the person announced the time, I was dumbfounded. 9.4s!!?? To me, it seem like a 10.5s speed (my estimation is usually very accurate)
That’s like! The whole world slow down in my mind. That’s like, Wanted! That’s like soooo freaking COOL! Ha-ha. For the rest of the 4 stations, I cleared with ease. My pull-up got a 8 this time and I feel that I can go more. Unfortunately, I screwed up for my 2.4km… yes… again. I had to much warm-up. I slow jog for 3-4 minutes and end up not being able to catch up with the timing. At least I improve, when my timing for Silver past, I just have 200m left to the finishing line. Just 200m!!
Beside being able slow down time, I can also speed up time. Ha-ha. That happen when I was chatting with my friend who was an actress (joking!), everything became so fast. I never realized until she asked why I slowed down. I slowed down!!?? What’re you talking about!!?? I was moving at normal speed (to me) and everything else is moving so quickly. I couldn’t explain it. Is this those kinda ‘theory’ that time passes fast when you are having a good time?? But this ‘theory’ is mostly figurative or happen only in the mind but in my case… its too literally!!!
Another case left unsolved. Leave that for another episode of… 5AmUeL wonderful blog post. Errmm… That’s a bit drama. Errmm… ciao!

The coolest person on the planet

… end up the last post wasn’t the last post of the year. This however should be it. The last and final post of the year 2008.
My New Year Resolution for 2009 is to be the Coolest Person on the Planet =D How do I’m going to that…?
You see, if you are Internet Marketer like me, or especially in the field of SEO marketing, you would have realize that a period of time, everyone wants to be (kinda like a race) the ‘Coolest Guy on the Planet’. And just by typing the term ‘coolest guy on the planet’, you will find 3 millions over results. Among them, thousands of the top results are by the world’s best SEO marketers. They wanted to test their skills in ranking top and being the coolest(pseudo) guy on the planet(more like just in the internet).
If you have any experience doing SEO(search engine optimization), you will understand, it is not simple to rank top, or on first page on a particular broad(common) keyword.
So I’m proclaiming myself as the Coolest Person on the Planet and will do some basic SEO fine-tunning, and hopefully, in a matter of few days(Google takes a while to index), I will be ‘recognized’ the top Coolest Person on the Planet in Google results.
Coming to think about it… I don’t want to just claim all the ‘glory’. Or else I will sound like our local self-acclaimed star, controversial blogger, Steven Lim, who claimed he’s the World’s Most Handsome Guy. OMG!
So, here’s what. After I managed to rank at the first page for my term ‘Coolest Person on the Planet’, beside claiming myself the title (lol), each one of you who read my blog is also the COOLEST PERSON =D Happy?
Its not just me who recognized you. Even Time recognized YOU.
You are also the coolest person on the planet

It’s only being 3 hours. And I’m already ranked 3rd in Google for being the Coolest Person on the Planet out of 101,000 results. Yes, had beat timesonline, myspace, brad fallon (SEO expert), BBC, all with the post ‘Coolest Person on the Planet’ and I got ranked 3rd. Only with some light SEO. (I have a few more arsenal I have not used that can make me ranked for any keywords I want and drive traffic.)
