… end up the last post wasn’t the last post of the year. This however should be it. The last and final post of the year 2008.
My New Year Resolution for 2009 is to be the Coolest Person on the Planet =D How do I’m going to that…?
You see, if you are Internet Marketer like me, or especially in the field of SEO marketing, you would have realize that a period of time, everyone wants to be (kinda like a race) the ‘Coolest Guy on the Planet’. And just by typing the term ‘coolest guy on the planet’, you will find 3 millions over results. Among them, thousands of the top results are by the world’s best SEO marketers. They wanted to test their skills in ranking top and being the coolest(pseudo) guy on the planet(more like just in the internet).
If you have any experience doing SEO(search engine optimization), you will understand, it is not simple to rank top, or on first page on a particular broad(common) keyword.
So I’m proclaiming myself as the Coolest Person on the Planet and will do some basic SEO fine-tunning, and hopefully, in a matter of few days(Google takes a while to index), I will be ‘recognized’ the top Coolest Person on the Planet in Google results.
Coming to think about it… I don’t want to just claim all the ‘glory’. Or else I will sound like our local self-acclaimed star, controversial blogger, Steven Lim, who claimed he’s the World’s Most Handsome Guy. OMG!
So, here’s what. After I managed to rank at the first page for my term ‘Coolest Person on the Planet’, beside claiming myself the title (lol), each one of you who read my blog is also the COOLEST PERSON =D Happy?
Its not just me who recognized you. Even Time recognized YOU.
You are also the coolest person on the planet

It’s only being 3 hours. And I’m already ranked 3rd in Google for being the Coolest Person on the Planet out of 101,000 results. Yes, had beat timesonline, myspace, brad fallon (SEO expert), BBC, all with the post ‘Coolest Person on the Planet’ and I got ranked 3rd. Only with some light SEO. (I have a few more arsenal I have not used that can make me ranked for any keywords I want and drive traffic.)
I loved SEO!!
I had some grammar typo(suppose to be ‘on’ instead of ‘in’) in my post but I’ve changed already. However permalink will still remains the same unfortunately

Im seriously happy. I got a cap for Christmas!
I’ve always(figuratively) wanted a cap but I never bought one since I don’t regard it as necessity. That’s how easily satisfied I am. To me iPod Touch is a necessity. I just found out the beauty of music and how they can change emotions and moods so easily and Im hook to it.
Unfortunately, I accidentally un-jailbreak my iTouch last night, but while jailbreaking it again. I thought, why not take this chance to change my boot screen, so I load up PS and do some “shopping”(photoshopping). And ta-da! Here it is. My new iPod Touch boot screen.
Make me love my Touchie even more!!! XD
Just now, I went for NS medical checkup and result are out! I’m PES A. I’m FIT. HAHA. The last station is probably the most fun. We get to do these 5-6 “IQ” tests that kinda feel like playing games! For my fellow guys classmates who have not went to the checkup or my juniors who will be doing theirs next years… here’s how you get prepared… (what’s so good about getting good scores in these tests? You might be able to get into division like Commando, since commandos need to be smart[y pants] =D)
Play “Who has the Biggest Brain?” by Playfish on Facebook!!! These tests are pretty similar… but pertaining how it is really like… I have to shut my mouth =x (Don’t want to get myself in trouble with the Government ahhh, reveal secrets like that)

Have being so busy the last few days…
Finally, Christmas is over… In a few days, life will be back to reality. School starting on the 29th. FYP (Final Year Project) will be back to haunt me once again.
Here’s what happen since I last update my blog. Be prepared to be bored to death =P (I’ll try to make it [my life] seem as interesting as possible… but seriously, it is =D)
On 23th, one day before the play. Im like… super BZ. I joined the youth to buy food for the 24th countdown, after which, we celebrate Ah Seng’s birthday, and then we helped to prepare the give-away materials till midnight and then we cab home. The day have not ended… I still need to make 16 Christmas cards for my friends.

The whole point is that… Im super busy!!! (however, I enjoyed every minute of it =D)

hohoho… how can there be Christmas without Santa. Ehhh… this is Santa Jr.
(If I get hold of the recording of the play, I will post it somewhere for your viewing pleasure)
I invited 4 friends but only 2 turn up in the end =P (luckily, I did not just invite 1 friend… else, only 1/2 a friend will come o.0”)
However, I can’t help but noticed the actual play was even better than during our rehearsals. Everything went very smoothly, all the actors were in their top form, all emotions successfully brought across, I improvise alot, make it seem more natural, etc. etc. So, we have to thanks the Lord for making the whole play a success! And Im so proud to be part of the Lord’s ministry and I hope Holy Spirit will do its work on the friends we invite =D
After the whole play, its finally time to celebrate!!! I invited my friend Joel along for YF (youth fellowship) Christmas countdown BBQ back at the church building, 141. Yes Joel, our church office building look like a chalet! We get to go to ‘chalet’ every week.
We actually missed the actual countdown to Christmas but we still get to have ‘countdown’ 3 times that night.
We taunt the night. Only a few manage to the taunt the whole night without sleep. Me, Ah Seng, Lim Han, Hanzhong, Chiwei, Meiqi were the only survivors from the invasion-of-the-sleep-bug, the rest either got pwned very quickly or submit to the invaders when they almost survive through the night…
After that, we went to Casuarina Curry (prata shop) and scare their customers away with our zombie look ; ) (Jk’in)
On Christmas day, I went to my friend’s (also Xiao Wei’s cousin) Christmas Party.
**ADDED** My friend name is Sandra =P (Sandra complained that I never state her name in the previous sentence =P Sorry ah)

Bye bye church van

Yesterday, we went to have a "大餐" at some place. We had duck rice… and Edmund told us a story of a taxi driver… and pastor J asked about the time and location and… EH! But that’s not the main point =P The main point is that we hitch a ride on the SBC gospel van that was going to be scraped today, since the COE is expiring…
Here we are, taking the last picture with it, and that we will surely missed it
What no one can see, is that INSIDE some of us, this the TRUE FEELING we had for the van…
Okay, that’s enuff. Back to reality. This morning, Im just reading some materials by Gary Halbert. And I gotta say, those are pretty strong points and I think everyone should spend a minute or 2 thinking about it…
The Halbert Index is a way to classify people if whether they are a PLAYER, or a LOSER.
All the 10 points described the qualification to be a PLAYER, a WINNER (mindset).
However, here’s the list of qualities we do not want to have, or associate with. The ‘LOSER’ mindset includes…
Regarding point (5), I already thought of a few people at the back of my head *snigger*
and the last point…
I agree to that *nod head*
However, if you think you acquire some quality of a ‘LOSER’ dun feel bad, I personally acquire ‘LOSER’ quality no. (1), (4), (7)…
The main point for this post is that after identifying your flaw. Make effort (conscious) to correct them. Remember my previous post where I say publicly announcing your goal is a good way to attain the goal? My goal is to correct this flaws and attain more quality of a ‘PLAYER’ and not forgetting point (10), with God as my guide ; )

Christmas Play – “cannot say de secret”

Just watch the movie, "My name is Fame" starring Lau Ching-Wan on TV.
He was acting as an had being actor teaching a newbie actor acting skills. It has being a while since I stay up late just to watch late night movie since Im always busy =P.
This movie really speaks to me since Im just came back from my Christmas Play rehearsal. There’s some points by Ching-Wan that is very true and I will take into consideration.
Speaking of which, here’s my Christmas Play poster design, by yours truly.
Anyone who want to watch it. Need to confirm with me by… eh? Tomorrow? Its free but entry is by ticket only. So you can’t just turn out without a ticket =D
Today’s rehearsal is really tiring, Im appearing in scene 1, 2, 3, and 4 consecutively and each one has a different outfit. Im really in a mad rush backstage… I think for these few days, before the play, I will just put FYP aside for the moment and give my best for the play… And also to practice my solo singing =D

Random rantz of the day

After a few days of messing troubleshooting. I finally solved my blog’s problem. Turn out, it wasn’t my fault. My ISP cache stuff that wasn’t supposed to be there. Making a big mess.
Im now officially abandoning my PPC (pay-per-click) campaign (internet business) and switch to using FREE methods to generate sales. No more paying for ads to drive traffic. Im going 100% FREE SEO way.
However, the day I abandon my PPC campaign. I notice my Clickbank account suddenly shot out!
US$20 for advertising, I made $174!! That’s like 1000% ROI!(yes, it can be scaled bigger, if I set my daily limit to $50, imagine how much I can make) Made me re-think if whether I should abandon my PPC. But since I made up my mind. Bye-bye-bye… Im now going to concentrate on SEO way of marketing.
S$225 a day(referring to previous paragraph)… imagine that. If I can consistently produce that result, its $6000/mth. No need for a day job. I would concentrate on doing what I enjoy like… designing, freelance, or even do it for free… not having to worry about money.
My goal is to make an average of $500/day before NS, which will do its work automatically. Perhaps requiring some fine tuning and tweaking every weekend. So multiply that by 2 years serving in NS… $360k when I’m released back into the society. $360k might be a little far-fetch… just $100k will also be GREAT. Haiz… however, I still failed in my initial aim to make my first million before 21st but I can still make it for my 25th birthday =D
…and publicly saying out goals is PROVEN(trust me on this) to make one more motivated and to achieve the goal =D So plan out your goals/targets and publicly announce it, yea?
Looking back at past post (http://www.5amuelchan.com/blog-old/), Im really amused by all the immature posts I had. Ha~! For most people, they will most likely, trashed and abandon their old entries and restarting a new blog… probably due to relationship problem, or just wanting to have a new start… etc. I however, archive all of them!! Ha-ha… From that blog, you can find ALL my past relationshipSssss! ALL the stupid things I’ve done. I don’t want to hide anything. Its all publicly available for all… (friends, families, and stalkers alike). And I’ve backup all of them frequently just in case some freak accidents(like tornados, volcano, tsunami, war or SUPER virus) occured that wiped out everything on the internet, I will still have a copy somewhere.
Ok, ciao… this is getting long for a posts without pictures, hope I don’t bored some of you to sleep.

Lunch with SBC youth!

My blog has being down for a couple of days if you have notice. As promised, I’ve uploaded all the photos I’ve taken at The wat-wat-wat Seafood Restaurant.
We had seafood buffet there. Ordering shark-fin’s soups, abalones, crabs, prawns, you name it. Even creatures’ that is not a "seafood" like chicken was also served. Meiqi, a pity you are not here. However, here’s some pictures to let your mouth water.
I’ve uploaded the pictures to my own host, not mediafire, so click on the picture and you will download the .zip of SOME(while most turn out blur or spolit) of the photos I’ve taken during the buffet itself.
